A1A Travel was founded by John and Barbara Ashworth in the early eighties and moved to the current site during 1998.
The business has grown over the years, having started with one mini coach and expanded to operate the current fleet of approximately twenty five vehicles which range from eight seater mini coaches to a double decker bus. The company is proud of its record of providing a high quality public transport service on major routes and numbers amongst its customers Merseytravel and Wirral Borough Council. It also does regular contract work for many leading companies. An essential requirement of the continuing success and development of the Company's quality objectives is the installation of a quality system registered to ISO 9000 status. A1A Travel is very proud of it's loyal staff, it now employs more than 35 people but due to the company down sizing their operations in 2010 the company where left with two Stage Carrage routes being service 107 & 207 which were Merseytravel Contracts and A1A Travel commercialised them services in 2009, however these have since been withdrawn by A1A Travel. |
